While preparing my gear to go on my next survival adventure in Sicily I was given the opportunity to test and try out Buff® head wear. After a few minutes of having it in my hands I quickly realized the various ways I can utilize this remarkable product, but the true test was to come when I was exposed to the elements. Provided with various Buff® products which include the Polar Buff®, and the Original Buff® I made my way in the unforgiving climate of the Nebrodi Forest. The Original Buff® is a life saver and is truely indispensable! I used it keep my self warm, purify and drink water as well as a windshield from 50km winds. At night the Polar Buff® kept me warm as I wore it as a beanie and when the temperature reached -21 degrees I used it as a balaclava. From my experience it's a tool you can't be without. In fact one short note, the Original Buff® saved my cameraman's face and head and kept him warm when suffering from intense hypothermia, so all I can say is that it proved itself in the field of survival! Now I don't leave home with out one as it is an essential tool for every situation.

Be it in the swealtering summer heat here in Malta or in a shooting range abroad in freezing temperatures I have found so many uses for my Buff®. In such a high precision sport, not feeling 100% good can affect your performance, so I make sure to wear a Buff® around my neck to keep me warm. And, in warmer temperatures I use a Buff® as a head band, which keeps sweat from running down my forehead into my eyes. What can a multisport enthusiast expect more from a piece of equipment. It's very cool, trendy and most of all it is useful in an unlimited array of ways. Found ways of using the same buff® to run a half marathon at 6 degrees and to do trail runs at 35 degrees. Used it to cover my mouth from car exhaust when on my bicycle on my way to work and as a head and hand warmer when I'm out camping and following the clips on the website I realize that for sure I'll be using it in many more useful ways in the coming months.
